Work from home 80-90% of the time.
Get a ton a vacation/holidays.
Have a MiFi with unlimited data and an iPad.
Oh, and I get a free gym.
That's pretty much it, but it's a good gig.

I did just interview for a company that has Beer:30 starting at 3:30 every Friday. That sounded pretty awesome.
We start at lunch on Fridays, but we get out early as well. Secretary fills up everyones mugs and brings them to our offices at 12:30
As for the op, I get free shite like, tools, electronics, etc...
Just the other day I got a gas powered auger, few months ago got a 12k matco toolbox, klipsch speakers, tv. etc... I guess it makes up for working for a small business and having to pay my own insurance

I've worked IT in the consulting field in the BR area with big contracts like Popeye's, Keans, St. Elizabeth, etc to a multi-city electrical supply house, to a hospital in texas, and now im back in LA working for a legit big company in the energy/pipeline industry in a city with very little IT opportunities at all.
finally putting my time in has paid off, just found out my cell bill will be paid now as well.
For IT work, I'm doing okay.

In the 29 years I worked as an RN, there were no perks.

I get to masturbate at work and play music really, really loudly.

I can come and go as I please, which is nice. I work in customer's offices and some of them have crazy perks. If you have the chance to tour Exxon's campus in Houston, I'd suggest you take the chance. It is awesome. I work at several places that have sodas and juices available all the time, gyms that are nicer than where I'm a member, etc.

Free medical/dental coverage. Off the chain life insurance, housing pay, food pay, flight pay, and paid leave (I have 30 days off right now). And per diem for 7 month vacations.
