re: NY Governor tells Mike Johnson to get back to Washington and fix immigration.

This article is just trying to make you decide which a-hole to support. Don’t fall for it. ...
re: For the first time in our nation's history, a 30-year-old isn't doing as well their parent
Posted by Tigers0891 on 4/24/24 at 5:10 pm
30 year olds have voted in three presidential elections and a lot of them probably don’t even vote for something as “unimportant” as congress.
But sure , let’s blame them. Not the 70 year olds in congress that got voted in there forty years ago by boomers and are still there. Yep, it’s the 30 ye...

Caleb , Brady, Montana, can’t even touch Jayden in a foot race or athleticism either. ...
re: Is Jayden too skinny

Caleb Williams is three inches shorter and about the same weight.
“But he looks thick and muscular”. He also paints his nails, cries on the sideline, and looks like a mental case. Draft coverage personalities and GM’s are stupid, however it seems they are in a contest to see who can be more dumb...

Abreu was already declining when they signed him, he is in full nose dive now. Guy is getting blown away by low nineties fastballs. It’s a shame. He used to be a guy you don’t even want to give a fastball to look at much less try to put it in the zone. ...
re: Aaron Boone just got ejected for not saying a damn thing
Posted by Tigers0891 on 4/23/24 at 9:25 am
To be fair, Aaron Boone has been a little bitch the last few seasons.
And how about just start firing or fining umpires for dumb shite to improve the pool of them? Robot umps are so robotic and cold to the game. ...

I don’t remember the figure but find the episode where Artie tried to kill himself after losing the money to Jean Philippe. They mention the tab that Tony has ran up and Artie “forgives” it as payback.
I wanna say like 13 grand but can’t remember. ...

Taggart: we’ll work up a number 6 on ‘em
Lamarr : [frowns] "Number 6"? I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that one.
Taggart : Well, that's where we go a-ridin' into town, a-whompin' and a-whumpin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except the women folks, of course.

re: Massive cargo ship narrowly avoided 2 Mississippi River crashes in Louisiana in 2 days
Posted by Tigers0891 on 4/18/24 at 12:00 pm
You didn’t upset me. I just don’t understand why you think it takes any skill to read out a basic press statement that someone else wrote and why it matters. Latasha the civilian coffee maker could have done it. Has zero to do with leadership or your “back in my day” goofiness. ...
Back in the old military I was in a year 2 or 3 enlisted person didn't have anything to say that anyone cared to hear. Real leadership wasn't scared to get in front of the world and say what needed to be said. But that was a long time ago when it meant something to be in the military and le...
re: Seafood Boil Help
Posted by Tigers0891 on 4/18/24 at 9:35 am
You don’t need to boil shrimp. Get the water boiling for potatoes, cut the heat, get the water to about 170 and drop the shrimp. They will be food safe cooked probably in less than two minutes. Now it’s easier to soak them because you don’t have to throw in ice and dilute the seasoning or any other ...
re: Gino’s In Baton Rouge

The arancini are great. The bread, great.
Also the single worst veal Marsala I’ve ever had. Tasted like Heinz beef gravy out of a jar with two pieces of mystery meat about the size of a medium sticky note. For that experience, I’ll never go back. ...
How in the hell is an E-4 considered a spokesman for the Coast Guard?
The same way a Trooper first class are spokesman for LSP. They are bottom of the totem pole, someone smarter than them writes something, and they go look good and read it.
Not that hard to comprehend. ...
re: Any fans of bao buns here?

re: The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate jumps to 7.50%

I waste plenty of money but the money I waste , with my salary as a single man, isn’t enough to buy right now. You can’t necessarily even sacrifice some then live in a basic cheaper house depending where you are because of other factors. Unless you are making 100,000 straight out of college and had ...
