I live in your hood zealot and I almost always have trouble getting cabs so I usually end up walking to Tip's, which is kind of a cab hub when they're having a show. Trips downtown w Uber may cost a few bucks more but at least we can sit in the fricking AC while they come

I wish they would have had uber up and running last weekend when I was in nola. I could have gotten a ride in a good clean car instead of the piece of shite junk cabs we rode in twice. One of which didn't have a working back seat belt, which made my gf go flying to the front when the stupid cabbie slammed on his brakes to yell at a roller bladder that got hit by another car. Then the cabbie decided to try and yell at the person at that hit the dirty hippy roller bladder while we were in the lower 9th.
