Nope. Only when traffic is backed up.

this. If you know what streets cut through and what streets to take. Like I take the Howard exit almost every time when going into uptown. Lots of places to cut from there. Then there are roads that parallel the ones that back up. Really on St. Charles and Tchoup are bad. the others move. Nap gets bad too, but you should be on Toledano or Louisiana instead.

I'm near Children's hospital. Still searching for the best route. Usually my issue is that Uptown drivers are moving at a snail's pace, block the intersections at Magazine etc.

East to West I'm good, but I go to Midcity a lot to do work stuff, and I eventually have to get on Nashville for that.

Broadway is fricked now that Tulane is back. Carrollton is Ok if you stick to the middle lane then move left before the Interstate, but its a bit of a jog west for me. etc.

I'm just in the armpit of this son of bitch really.

I might need to become an Uber driver. I have a very flexible schedule and own a Santa Fe.

Think people would ride in that?

Tchoup is the quickest way downtown to the riverbend. By far.

Wish it was two lanes each way though, so Mr. 25mph couldn't kill your time.

What kind of car insurance do you have to get to be an Uber driver?

Had a Santa Fe pick me up last weekend. I think most people don't really care what type of car it is, as long as it is clean and driver is somewhat friendly. Basically exact opposite of cab drivers.

When I was Uptown, the worst part of driving down St. Charles, by far, was the a-hole tour bus driver that would not only go slow as frick, but he would briefly pull over to the side of the road, stop for a second to tell people about whatever was located there, then merge back onto St. Charles without looking. Same bus almost hit me twice over a year's span.

Well, I have friendly and shower regularly down pat.

Keeping my car clean will be my Achilles' Heel
