no way street car takes at minimum an hour to get to CBD from Napoleon.

I'm new to all this Uber hoopla on this board, but does someone get benefits from more people using their code. Is LSUZealot getting money or free rides from all of us using uberwhodat? And how does uber make money if everyone is using this code for stuff under $30 all the time

Which I suppose is the only reason that NOLA's government allowed it.

Most likely. I also think the Uber black / SUV drivers are certified and licensed whereas the X drivers just have to be screened.

I'm basing this off the one time taking it from Touro to One Shell. Was about 40 minutes.

They are trying to expand their market share. The codes come and go.

No it's not just me it's everyone. If you have an Uber account you have a summer promotion code.

The code is you get your first ride free up to $30. Then since I recommended you, I get my next ride free. It's a win/win to support a better service.

For free uber is cheaper too. Only abouy 10 minutes faster.

I would take that Uber though for $20.

If you wouldn't have dropped out of college maybe you could find a real job and move to a better place.

No frickin way. Plus a street car comes by maybe once every 15 minutes if you're lucky. You gotta count walk time, wait time and actual time in the street car.

I'm near Children's hospital. Still searching for the best route. Usually my issue is that Uptown drivers are moving at a snail's pace, block the intersections at Magazine etc.

East to West I'm good, but I go to Midcity a lot to do work stuff, and I eventually have to get on Nashville for that.

Broadway is fricked now that Tulane is back. Carrollton is Ok if you stick to the middle lane then move left before the Interstate, but its a bit of a jog west for me. etc.

I'm just in the armpit of this son of bitch really.

I would check out thee routes..

You're gonna pay $50 to go from Uptown to downtown for a couple of hours?
