Evolution of the Canton, TX tornado from GEOS-16. Notice the low level clouds converging over E. TX near Canton. Also, the morning storms over Louisiana lifting north.

You cannot believe the lightning here in Wood County. It's a constant strobe. It doesn't stop for a second

Those Canton tornados were no joke. That Dodge dealership would have been open. Waiting to hear about the employees and/or customers.

Lowish tornado threat overnight for S. Louisiana but increases as you head NE:

Lowest part of my house got flooded.. 2 inches or so seeped in from the garage. Our shop had over a foot of water in it.
Still raining it's arse off, but the lull in precipitation the past couple of hours has helped tremendously.
The low is finally starting to push eastward, and we should be rain free in the next 12 hours or so.
This has been the biggest rainfall event in my life up here in NWA.

I'm from there--they are in bad shape tonight. I now live about 50 miles away and just have rain but they got hammered. It's also first Monday weekend and the place was packed with people.

Go look at Google Maps traffic view. It's messed up from Athens northward.

Really sad to hear. Shocking only 1 fatality reported so far but no news about First Monday or dealership customers yet.
