This is the reaction of most members when they pull up to the gym and realize it's pizza buffet day.

Give yourself at least two days rest, and I wouldn't do more than two days in a row.

My experience, do chest and back at the beginning of the week and do legs at the end of the week.

In fact, it's not. You must work out at Planet Fungus too.

I am a member, and I like it just fine for what it is.

I like to exercise on my lunch break, so I am a member of the one that is right down the street from work. For 10 bucks a month, it works perfectly for me.

I believe I am past the point in my life to go for size. Just trying to live longer and be a better looking old man.

Same here. I go to snap for the locations but PF is fine by me. At 40 and PLENTY of old injuries/surgeries behind me, I just need some normal dumbbells, machines, etc to get my muscles working and heart rate up for 45 minutes.

When I think of Planet Fitness, I think of Average Joes from dodge ball. It seems like the try too hard to cater to the average out of shape American and tend to shame in shape people. Google lunk alarm and you'll see what I mean. It is a cheap option though

I love how butthurt meatheads get over PF lunk alarm, you see it all over those terrible youtube videos they make... PF has found a niche to fill and it's for the betterment of everyone that average people workout.

What exactly is it about them getting their own space to do it that rubs you raw? I mean if this keeps average people coming back, what is the big problem?

Heavy is relative, but after 40/50+ lifting is important to help delay age related muscle loss. Even though I've always been more of an endurance guy, I still bench, squat and deadlift over my bodyweight regularly (51yo). The local PF doesn't have the equipment for that, or a lap-pool.
