We are getting a brand new one here in Katy. The location intrigues me. It is another low price zero contract chain, so I can see it being trashy. But again, the Katy location has promise and will be brand new.

We are thinking about joining. Any thoughts? Compared to 24 Hour Fitness, which I feel just throw up a club and leave it to rot. Only spending money on new member hustling and personal training.

I go into it expecting a clean club with clean equipment, because it's brand new. Just wonder how long it can last before decay and "poors" eat it up.

If they just put a wall around free weights, this wouldn't be an issue

Looking in from driving by, it's wide open.

Want to.

Too much. You pay for the water park and soccer mom eye candy. Which I understand is quite strong.

Worked out there for year and a half I lived in Katy. Best time is 8:30 right after the moms dropped their kids off at school.

They do a good job of keeping up with the ones in Lafayette. Even the one in the hood has really clean equipment. Yeah, they have weird people that go to them but it doesn't bother me. Only downside is the lack of good looking women.

Wide open

Clean

Plenty machines

Much better than Anytime & Snap, IMO. Oh, and much cheaper.

It's clean, not crowded, and cheap. I use it for cardio and use the machines to stay toned up. If you want a hard core workout with free weights, etc then it's no good.

That not true. You can get a great pump. I use free weights and then I just use the machines to failure.

Mine has pullup bars galore and all kinds of other stuff.

For the price, you can't beat it.

I was a pretty big planet fitness hater until I tried it. You can't beat the price.

I believe I am past the point in my life to go for size. Just trying to live longer and be a better looking old man.
