I'm not concerned about whether or not it's trashy. I'm concerned about the price, and whether or not it has everything I need to have a good workout. In terms of those two things, it is an amazing value.

The one in my neck of the woods has free doughnuts in the mornings (I don't go, but a friend does). Seems a bit counterintuitive.

When I lived in Gulfport the new planet fitness caused my old gym to shut down. So I had to go to planet fitness or drive too far away to the next gym. There were no classes, so I immediately hated it. Then I noticed tootsie rolls at the door every day and some times there would be pizza dinners and bagel breakfasts. I felt like they were trying to sabotage me!

How in the hell is Planet better than anytime fitness when they dont even have one single barbell? Its not even a gym, its a gathering area for people that dont like to work out but guilt themselves into goin. Anytime and all the others may suck too, but they dont suck a flaming cock like Planet does.

Very briefly. Mriluv had to move down there in the katrina aftermath bc of work. Not a lot of houses available at that time so he took what he could find in gulfport. We got engaged in 08 and lived there 3 yrs. It was ok. I miss drinking in the casino all night and being so close to nola.
