psycho PE teacher .... she screams at these girls that they're fat and even went in the lunch room and threw away lunches that some of the kids had brought from home. Like went through their lunches in front of everybody and humiliated them .... humiliating 11 year old girls about their bodies

Can you imagine the outrage if this had been a male PE teacher in stead of the lesbian that it was? Sounds like this woman needs some counseling.

my kids eat pbj every day, that would be terrible to deal with. I understand a parent not wanting her kid to die though. we have like a blackberry/blueberry allergy in one of my kids classes.

Mine does too. They just make the kid with the allergy sit away from the kids with peanuts. I would guess the kids allergy isn't too bad if they go that route.

The funny part about this to me is that the OP said she accused his wife of being a bad parent. Since kids have been going to school, they've been sharing stories and information. And then the other kids go home and tell their parent what they learned. A good parent talks to their child and explains things in their own way and with whatever information they want to share. A bad parent picks up the phone and blames other parents because she now has to talk to her kid. The horror!

This is the type of person that should home school their kids if they don't want the kids exposed to the outside world.

I'm convinced actual peanut allergies are super rare. We seem to be the only country where this is a thing. Kids in Africa get fed peanut butter to fatten them up and none of them seem to have a fricking peanut allergy. Let the kids enjoy their PPJ.

Most of Louisiana is like this nowadays... There's a very vocal group of people with zero education background running around scaring parents into thinking that new education standards are going to turn their kids into drooling communists worker drones. It's nuts I tell ya! Bet crazy mom from OP fits in that group.

I agree. There was none of this when I was a kid. Now it seems every other kid has an allergy of some sort.

Unless your child brought a diagram or a video example of the impregnation process, you're ok.

1st grade teacher is pregnant. She told all the parents at the Meet the Teacher event in August, but now she is starting to show. We told our daughter that Mrs. Teacher has a baby in her tummy and she asked how it got there.

Without going into grave detail about the process, we told her that her teacher and her husband decided they wanted a baby and decided to get pregnant.

Like 1st grade children do, my daughter went and discussed this at school. Another parent wasn't too happy that we didn't clear our discussions with her. My wife was fuming because this woman was yelling at her calling her a bad parent.

Were we wrong or is this woman just crazy?

What? how dare you not tell them a stork brought the baby or that it was born in a cabbage patch.
