This is the first year I've ever heard this nonsense, and I've seen it a lot. Little Palo Gaucho is getting hooked up by the fat man.

Expensive or not I think the best thing a parent can give any child is a sense of appreciation for whatever he or she has and how blessed they are regardless of how much the gift cost.

My kid is going to ruin Santa for everyone else's kids so this doesn't effect me.

I clicked and was all ready to blast this to pieces.
But I actually think it makes sense a little bit.
However....not every parent will do this so your efforts won't really matter I don't think.
Same. After reading that shite, it kinda made me sad.

I was blessed as a kid that Santa always brought me what i wanted. So i have empathy with a little kid who doesnt get to have that same experience of Santa. And their parents who cant give it to them.
I also, even as a kid, feel a little odd when Santa brings you name brand electronics. Whats the narrative on that one.

Maybe if you spent your time actually working for a living and not on the interwebz looking for attention, you wouldn't be poor.

I always figured if I have kids I'll give them shitty things from Santa, then be like "well few that sucks", then Mom and Dad come in and save the day with their awesome gifts. Then they go to school and tell all their friends how much cooler their dad is than Santa. Stupid fricking slide whistle.

I only have one who still believes in Santa. I think it's up to each family to decide and don't think it's anyone's business to dictate what Santa should and should not bring. But I also think the people who overdo Christmas and buy the super expensive presents for little kids to be ridiculous.

Growing up everything was from Santa, though we had a large unwrapped gift each year as well. We just had 'mom' or '-my first name-' on the presents. My wife didn't agree when it came to Christmas with our son. I didn't fight it, but I still believe it's the superior way.

I was really hoping this thread was about Santa giving kids dildos and fleshlights.

In our house Santa gives three modest but special gifts. Only three because thats all the sweet baby Jesus got for his Christmas.
Mom and Dad give the baller gifts cause I want them to Love me and not some fat arse creeper who sneaks into the house every winter.

My parents usually did one or two "big" gifts from santa each year, and everything else from them.
I think it's what I'm going to do with my kids as well.
