I can absolutely understand why an officer would want someone to roll down their window. Someone can pull a gun out, shoot out of the window and have the window used as some type of shield. It might not be much of a shield for a gunshot, but a cop has reason to question why someone might not want to put their window down all the way.. And like I said, to not comply to that request is just being a jackass who is causing yourself more problems than anything.

Certain situations in life are unfair and shouldn't happen to people. But shite happens, and you can either be difficult about it or you can weigh your options and make the choice that keeps you safe and out of trouble.
This woman may be well within her rights, and may well have her day in court to address her grievances, but now she has a smashed window and had to waste time dealing with it.
The alternative? Roll down her window and avoid all of that nonsense.

He could have easily slipped the clipboard in without putting his fingers in danger.
Even had she closed his fingers in the window:
A) It's not going to hurt him as they are designed not to do so
B) She would in fact be assaulting him at that point
Yes, she was being difficult, but she was within her rights to not roll the window all the way down.

Keep up? I think you are the idiot missing the point. I am simply asking, when someone is stopped or confronted by police, is it that mentality that causes police to to excessive action? I am not asking if that specific scenario, I am asking if its people not complying with simple request that causes things to escalate.

She was a single mom, part time student, and part time worker. He is a campus cop at UCF. Can't we all just get along? Was the need to write a little ticky tack ticket so strong in him that he had to escalate it to bitch and dick levels?
