why can't people grasp this concept .. It's like all of the Circle Ks that sell Shell gas .. It's not a Shell gas station .. It's a Circle K ..

It's really no different than the Budweiser they sell there .. They buy that from a distributor, they buy the Chevron gas from a distributor .. You've been to that place before, I'm sure .. It's just an old ratty, run down convenience store .. They've sold Texaco, Exxon, and Amoco gas there too, over the years ..

next time pay LSU $40 and park on campus. i can't believe you pay somebody at Highland an Roosevelt to watch your car, because everyone knows the cream of BR society hang out near Highland an Roosevelt. Normal people just don't do that, especially not LSU grads. Well except for one.

Just park in the Hayfield. It's free and not that long of a walk to the stadium.

makes much more sense than just parking in a safer area...its always best to over react.

why not leave them in the hotel?

Assuming you filed a police report, what did the police suggest as recourse?

No it's not, Mikel. That's a convenience store that sells Chevron gas. Hence, my valid Coke example. It's no difference. Chevron is one of many energy companies. They aren't in the convenience store biz

You're wrong. They can't just start selling ExxonMobil gas next week the way could simply change to only Pepsi products in their store. Just like Pinnacle / L'auberge. You're wrong.

I'll bet the Chevron Corporation has contractually specifically insulated itself from nuisance damages such as this

Probably so. Makes alot of sense.

My car was also broken into at the Alaska Street Park. Its A BREC park and we have been parking there for years.

sorry for your loss, bro. anybody who spent 4 years around campus should realize the area north of campus is really sketchy. i would never leave anything valuable visible in a car parked anywhere near there. Always hit the hotel first to drop your stuff off.

As to the Chevron, the guys handling parking may not even be employees, just neighborhood entrepeneurs.

That blows. I actually suggested that very park to a friend coming from North of campus close to game time.
