He should just start hitting up pawn shops nearby and maybe he can find his stuff there.

No it's not, Mikel. That's a convenience store that sells Chevron gas. Hence, my valid Coke example. It's no difference. Chevron is one of many energy companies. They aren't in the convenience store biz ..

shite sucks because if he lives in Florida he won't have time to search local pawn shop.

Louisiana-1
Florida -0

I'm sorry this happened to you Mike. I park in that general area and have never had an issue. Rule Number one is never leave anything in your car you can't afford to lose. And before you think I'm being a jerk, I've been there bro. I left stuff in my car in my driveway one day and paid severely for it.

Reading the local paper this morning sounds as if the gators shut down the Tigers in the second half.
More like les and the ground and pound took over. I would love to play florida again I think we kick their arse if we can fix our special teams.

That's gonna be a long drive back to Florida for them.

I had friends that went on a long roadtrip with their kids and for some reason left most of their luggage in their SUV overnight while they stopped at a hotel for that night. SUV broken into...everything taken. Trip completely ruined and it took weeks to get her SUV fixed(they busted out all the windows) I always think of them anytime I travel now and even think of leaving anything in my jeep for a long period of time.

It happens to us all .. But I am floored at the stuff people leave in their UNLOCKED cars .. Guns, wads of cash, etc.

im not going to pile on, but i would feel safe leaving my car in a gas station in that neighborhood.

however, leaving luggage and electronics in any neighborhood in baton rouge these days is not a good idea. especially for hours at a time.

Chevron's are usually well maintained. There arent any cameras around?

I absolutely would contact Chevron and let them know this happened at one of their franchises. Who exactly making money off of the parking there?

Who in the hell in their right mind parks there? Did at least catch a bus to the game because that's at least a 45 minute walk through the hood?

Chevron isn't McDonalds, it isn't a franchise.

It's less than 1/2 mile (like 3 blocks) to Highland & Chimes street.
