That sucks! Must be a terrible feeling. I don't blame your parents. That would ruin any vacation.

Do you realize you probably could have scored heroin or crack on any random corner of the neighborhood you were parked in?

I bet they thought you were Florida fans. Did you at least get a $25 refund?

yeah, that's a bad area. Any street with a dead president for a name is hood in Baton Rouge.

Never had a problem at the large parking lots on campus, other than the ineptitude of BRPD at controlling traffic flow.

The Chevron employees claimed to not know who the manager or owner was when I spoke to them so that was a dead end and I don't know if corporate will be of much assistance.

Number one suspects right there imo

Or after a state. I hear the Nicholson area by the north gates are improving, but I still wouldn't park there.

So are you going to do anything about it except this post?

Why would you leave laptops in a car, ever?

There is nothing at all he can do except learn from the mistake and move on.

I would love to have a recording if he tries to call Chevron "corporate" though.

OP, I'm assuming you are getting the police involved? Those employees know something if they weren't involved themselves.

No surveillance? No police to figure out that it was an inside job?

Sorry that happened Mike. It was a mistake to park there, but still it's awful that trust in this city just doesn't exist.

Ignore the frick-tards who are acting as if they know the ropes to every single event in life. They're avoiding being sympathetic to you and mocking you to show off their manliness.

The police arent going to really spend a lot of time on this. I guess a police report could help with an insurance claim though.

Sucks man but there's free parking on campus, even by the lakes which aren't ghetto. Never leave valuables on your vehicle

all these geniuses with their advice after the fact doesn't help you

this is what I would have suggested,, park there, $25 is a good price for parking on gameday
But I would have told them that the Mrs LOVES the BBC and that after the game if things were cool she would take on the whole shift

and then come back and complain about a scratch on the bumper and threaten to call the cops.

that way you would still have your shite
