I concur. I've seen a 1/4" drop on the Ridge in the last 7 hours.

What impact does this have? Outflow or inflow?

ST Gabriel I'm measuring a 1/4" drop in 3 hours. This is huge and it's now moving a little. Hwy 3115 west of 30 still has water on it but you can tell it has gone down. ?????? finally a little help

Latest report from the front of ridge: no measurable change.

I am expecting a positive report in the morning.

My wife just talked to the mayor and iberville school superindendent. They were worried about the kids in Spanish lakes subdivision not going to school and drove by to see what's going on. My wife told them a lot of people stuck in their house or had to leave the house because of all the flooded streets unless you have a pickup truck. The mayor told her the last street in the back of the neighborhood 1 or 2 houses have water inside there house and the water is really high back there but we should see some relief this afternoon but all the water will be completely gone by Saturday. Luckily we stay in the front part of the neighborhood but I feel bad for them back there. For alligator road and ridge and bluff I don't know how long that would take back there but I hope it won't be long for yall back there.

Spanish Lakes subdivision is well south of Ridge, Allgator Bayou, & Bluff. They will begin to see relief before you do.

They cut the road right? Waze tried to take me that way home yesterday and the WBRZ chick was checking it out.

Yes, today they were going to decide whether to cut it deeper.

I was down at the barricades on Alligator Bayou Rd last Monday where the water was pouring over and this guy drives up following Waze on his phone. He asked "can I get through here"? He was trying to get to Highland/I-10 area and Waze was taking him down Alligator Bayou Rd from Airline

It is cut right there by the Alligator Bayou bar, same stretch of road the locks are located on.
