A lot of these are legit, but let's not count out when the Chinese rolled out their fireworks. Gunpowder changed everything.

In the beginning we were fish, OK, swimming around in the water. Then, one day, a couple of fish had a retard baby, and the retard baby was different so it got to live. So retard fish went on to make more retard babies and then, one day, a retard baby fish crawled out of the ocean with its “mutant fish hands” and it had butt-sex with a squirrel or something and made this: retard frog squirrel. Then that had a retard baby that was a monkey fish frog. Then that monkey fish frog had butt-sex with this monkey and that monkey had a monkey retard baby that screwed another monkey and that made you. In turn, the most important moment in human history was when the retarded offspring of 5 monkeys having butt-sex with a fish squirrel gave birth to man.

This is literally the only answer. All the other stuff wouldn't have happened

Meh. A lot of things fit that description. First jump from prokaryote to eukaryote, first development of tools, domestication of first animals, discovery of shipbuilding, etc etc etc.

Guttenberg did not invent the printing press. That had been around for centuries. He invented MOVABLE TYPE. Upon his invention, it was not necessary to make an original full plate for each page of print

How were they printing full plates for hundreds of years without anyone coming up with the idea?

Without question, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the most influential individual in the history of mankind.

If you are Christian, Jewish, or Muslim, it would have to be Noah building an Ark and surviving the worldwide flood. That or Adam eating the forbidden fruit, or Abraham having a son.

From a non-religious standpoint I would actually go with the the US winning the revolutionary war and the writing of our constitution. Nothing has had a larger impact on the way people all over the world live their lives on a daily basis. It was the beginning of the civilized world freeing itself of monarchies and dictators. It proved to the world that the writings of Locke, Rousseau, etc could actually be implemented and succeed as more than theory. It spawned the French Revolution and countless other revolutions.

Landing on the moon is cool, but what did it really change? How did it impact our lives?

He said most famous/memorable/iconic moment in history. Not the most influential story made up by people.

I think we're going to have to give that one more time for humanity to see how it plays out. If space exploration ever becomes more feasible and a serious endeavor then it will have been huge as a symbol of humanity's first step outward.

Again, that's not the question. He asked what was the most famous/memorable/iconic moment in human history. It has to be a single event that people witnessed, so naturally it's going to be one in the age of television/internet. Only ones close to the moon landing are the nuclear bombs and 9/11

Good point. It's crazy to think that everything that has happened in the last 100 years......landing on the moon, the holocaust, Hitler, the internet, television, the nuclear bomb, etc is a mere blink in the history of the world.
