Warm enough but not considered sub-tropical in February.

He probably puts vodka in his martinis.

I don't know why I watched that and furthermore I don't know why you requested a link to it.

He made himself look like shite to play that role. That was awesome in and of itself. Like a boss.

he's certainly come along way as an actor. Those eight movies with Kate Hudson were horrible.

I was impressed w/ the references to God - I bet all the left wing aetheists bout shiite a brick and then he mentioned his family - and its a standard family w/ a wife, kids etc - how will teh left coast deal with that.
My take home message from teh speech on his hero is he always tries to improve - and hopes in 10 yrs he will be the man he wants to be - not a bad outlook

I thought it was a good, ballsy speech. Not to cool to mention God in that room.

Plus, I've liked him ever since he donated his prized Mustang for auction for Katrina victims.

What an awesome speech, anyone thinking otherwise is a damn fool.

He seems cool as shite to hang out with. Would be fun to kick it in Austin with him

Didn't say that at all, he said he would never become his hero because his hero was the person in the future that he aspired to be... That's a good message, you should strive to be your hero even if it is unattainable.

He's the man. If someone would have told me 3 years ago that he would be one of my favorite actors I would have laughed in their face. But it's true and he's an extremely talented actor. Everyone saying he is self absorbed must be really thick headed since he even said "I'll never be able to be that". He obviously meant that he expects the most out of himself and will do what he can to achieve that.

While I respect McConaughey's courage to speak his mind among a throng of liberals who for the most part consider his convictions a myth, I will very surprised if he every wins another Oscar regardless of his future performances.

Was really happy for McConaughey. I've always thought he was a good actor even though he plays himself 95% of the time.
