Have you priced beds lately? They are expensive. Some sleepnumbers and temperpedics break the $10,000 mark. I didn't pay that much for my first car.

Sleep innovations (price cheap)

I bought a queen Shiloh 12" mattress during Amazon Prime Day Deals for $267 thinking it'll be comparable to a 10" Shea mattress that I felt good sleeping on but it turns out it feels very different. I'm going to return it because it's too soft.

Yes the 10" seems firmer to me. I figured an additional 2.5" of support/foam would be firmer but that's not the case.

I have a Zinus (Amazon) and like it a lot. They have a few different types of memory foam options.

Tuft and needle (only 2 layers)

Have owned this for about 3 years now. Chose T&N over Casper b/c we wanted Firm.

It's still as firm today as the day it was delivered. We love it. Will never buy another spring mattress again.

While this is true, I've made do with a Tempur-pedic.

bought a Saatva. got the firm. was way too firm for mine or my wifes liking.
returned it and got the plush, and i honestly don't feel the big difference. Still seems too firm.
It's not an uncomfortable bed, and we sleep well, it just feels meh. Going to return the plush Saatva and go back to a spring mattress.

Anyone know anything about the brooklyn bedding?

Looks like it has more bounce which is good for sex. Is cool and works well for a side sleeper which I am.

They are offering now 50 off with two pillows and free set of sheets. So 850 for a king.

If you like firm, Tuft and needle is a good choice. Too firm for me.

I bought the Zinus 12" gel-infused green tea memory foam from Amazon two weeks ago. Sleeps better than the Sealy and the Serta I've owned before, and it was a third of the price.

But ask me again in a couple of years.

Saatva has springs, doesn't it?

I got Saatva's Loom and Leaf foam mattress and like it a lot.

I've had a Serra iComfort for about 6 years now. Most comfortable bed I've ever had. It's rather expensive but bought mine at a furniture store that was liquidating inventory so I paid much less than full price.
