re: What is your opinion of this current vein of modern architecture? - ChEgrad
It's been all down hill since the Greeks and Romans. LSU's original architecture was good -Italian Renaissance style. Newer stuff stinks. Why are libraries on campus almost always ugly eye sores on an otherwise beautiful campus? Seen this multiple times....

re: Metric system: Yea or Nay? - ChEgrad
Yes for length measurement -much better than fractions of an inch. Yes for weight. Yes for scientific temperature measurement, nay for weather temperature measurement -nice that 100 F feels hot....

re: This is called projection: Politico and speech patterns - ChEgrad
Yeah his vocabulary is not extensive or complex . Nor are his ideas
Why are people fans of complex ideas? Complexity does not equate with better. The simplest solution is often the best, the most easily implemented, and the most economic....

re: US Deficit cut by almost 2/3rds under Obama - ChEgrad
That is funny. The deficit only started to decrease once we had republicans in control of the house. Thanks GOP!
OP will not admit that this is true or that a Republican congress had anything to do with it....

re: Why I Support Hillary Clinton - ChEgrad
I support Hillary because people who cross Hillary and Bill find interesting ways to die suddenly. Just kidding. I'm willing to risk my life for my country and will do my best to make sure she is not elected....

re: TWP: Trump is a unique threat to American democracy - ChEgrad
TLDR: Hillary is a horrible politician and leader. Donald Trump is just straight up dangerous.
This just amazes me. Trump will be dogged by the media and won't get away with anything. He is absolutely the lesser threat to freedom of the two main candidates. How is a man who ob...

re: Thanks Obama. - ChEgrad
How is Obama to blame?
Vacating Iraq. Demolishing Libya. Moving red line. Encouraging Muslim Brotherhood. Watching Erdogan purge his government/country of secularists with a smile on his face. Every thing he has done and not done in foreign affairs has been wrong. Had he ado...

re: Thanks Obama. - ChEgrad
Who created the power vacuum in Iraq? The USA under Bush and the UK under Tony Blair
Power vacuum was filled with strong American presence. Obama removed that presence and created what we have today. Bush certainly played a role, but Obama and Hillary are responsible for the det...

re: TWP: Trump is a unique threat to American democracy - ChEgrad
EXACTLY! He's beyond a shadow of a doubt the most progressive candidate the GOP has run in our lifetimes. It's really amazing that they're almost getting away with this. It's insanity.
Now that you put it that way, he probably will be a totalitarian. Totalitarians are almost alway...

re: Ted Cruz reactions from fellow law makers shows a common theme - ChEgrad
rump is the Rorschach candidate.
And this is exactly what voters did with Obama. It worked then and it is working now. Trump seems to be the one man who understands how to attract voters. He is smarter at politics than all the career politicians combined. His only fault for tho...

re: Latest Hillary Campaign Commercial - ChEgrad
I've been seeing this one a lot. Hillary is literally playing the "think of the children!" card
Any whose child(ren) are more impressive? Chelsea married a hedge fund scammer. Trump's children seem impressive in their own right. I'd say if you think of the children, Trump has cl...

re: Trump: not big on reading - ChEgrad
George W Bush supposedly read quite a bit and you most likely didn't care for him as president. Does being well read guarantee that someone is an effective leader? Does not reading much guarantee that somone is not an effective leader? I postulate that the correlation is not strong. Most leaders...

re: The problem with offensive play calling.. - ChEgrad
I think the problem is often that the plays are related to the personnel package in the game. If we change personnel, then we have a very limited set of plays that they will use for that personnel. Makes them very predictable based on who is in the game....

re: Hillary committed perjury - everyone now agrees (even dems) and no one cares - ChEgrad
Martha Stewart went to jail for lying about a non-criminal act to the FBI. Libby lies and gets caught novices of perjury and obstruction of justice and goes to jail. Hillary lies about a criminal act, deletes emails (wouldn't that be obstruction?) and gets nothing. There is no law for high ranki...
