There are only 3 nutrients
Fats
Proteins
Carbs
You can live with 2 of the 3.
Figure it out.

No sugar and no grains.
I drink water, sparkling water, 1 cup of coffee, and occasional ice tea.
I don't drink any cokes or sports drinks.
Lots of grilled chicken, fish, and fresh vegetables. It really doesn't take a lot of time to cook those items.
I have to stay clear from red meat and pork due to kidney stone issues.

Tons of options; will say after eating like this 80% of the time that the thing that will get you is not enough fat in the diet. Trying to cut fat and carbs is a recipe for failure.
Typical day will be:
Breakfast: coffee with heavy cream
eggs/bacon
Snack: Usually a green protein drink with peanut butter, actually tastes good
Lunch: left overs, today was corned beef and cabbage
afternoon snack: either boiled egg, avocado, celery with almond or peanut butter
Dinner: Any meat, veggies, baked sweet potato, any fish
Carbs aren't the enemy and you can't cut to zero; if you start by just cutting out sugary drinks and sweets you're ahead of most. After that cut out chips/cereal type foods and then you're there. Some will say a cup of rice is going to kill you, it's not especially if active. I call it eating clean or healthy and forget it being lower carb

I rarely if ever drink sodas now because they're way too sweet. Drink water. LaCroix tastes so much sweeter after I cut sugar out completely for 30 days.
Look at Whole30 to get you started.

If you're really trying to lose weight, you need to minimize all alcohol consumption even if it contains little to no carbs. Your body tries to metabolize alcohol in your system as if it is energy and it will not burn fat until the alcohol has been metabolized.

That's cutting carbs, no?

Putting heavy whipping cream in your coffee is a beautiful thing
Butter and MCT or clear liquid coconut is better for you -- heavy whipping cream has lactose = insulin reaction. But that's getting picky. It is delicious.

I use Mios in my water. Helps with my sweets cravings and keeps me away from drinking soft drinks

I was surprised by the heavy cream for coffee. Could it be sweetened with stevia? What is MCT and why is it mixed with butter for coffee?

Haven't seen it really mentioned here but you can eat your weight in fried chicken wings; most buffalo sauces are low carb, too as are ranch/bleu cheese.
saute shrimp in garlic and EVOO or butter;
eat lobster tail and filet mignon;
Fried pork skins are available in most vending machines;
Arugula is really good for you too; I like to roll up some deli meat with a slice of cheese and some arugula for snacks.

On the weekend:
Boil a dozen eggs (very versatile and can be eaten alone or cut into a salad)
Bake a few packs of bacon " "
Prepare a large piece of meat of your choosing
*you can do this all at the same time
Snacks:
Dark chocolate and peanut/almond butter pair well
Macadamia / mixed nuts
Cocoa nibs (with a small piece of dark chocolate)
Fruits higher in fiber (berries, apples)
You can buy mixed bags of veggies that are steamed/ microwable. Put butter/olive oil/salt/pepper and pair with meat/salad
Sliced avocado accompanies most any meal well
George Stella (Food Network) has a good cookbook called the low carb cookbook with meal ideas
Every Friday is Ribeye and Wine/Cheese night in my home

Yes they are (I'm talking for health, not weight.)

I switched to low carb/ high protein recently. I found that a handful of pork rinds cured my desire for a crunchy chip replacement.

Medium Chain Triglycerides: they are a large part of what coconut oil consists of. Very good for you. Butter has no lactose so another good source of fat. Kerrygold grassfed at Costco is great.
When you switch to low carb, you have to up your fat intake. This "bulletproof" coffee is an easy and tasty way to do it. Read up on good fat balances--it is easy to get too much polyunsaturated fat and you don't want to just eat bacon all the time.
Stevia is ok. Low insulin response. I don't like it though.
Reddit keto board is a good resource for all this. So is put down the fork in the food board.
