Might as well drink sweet tea. You'd be much better off just drinking unsweet tea.

If you can kill it to eat it or grow it to eat it then generally you can eat it.

There are exceptions of course.

As mentioned too, cheese.

Look up cauliflower mac and cheese and low carb tater tots when you get cravings for carbs.

Saw that whisky is listed: whisky does not contain any carbs? Serious question.

vodka, gin, rum, tequila and whiskey

All have 0 carbs. Drink with water for a carbless night of drunkenness.

ETA: Add a squeeze of lime juice if needed. Very small amount of carbs. ~1 carbs per .5 oz

I've tried it and I find it disgusting. Unfortunately I think it's the sugar that I like in soda. I'll probably have to just start drinking water only. Might try coconut water too

I've heard some people say that sodas are a bit of an addiction and once you've stopped drinking them for a while you grow to prefer water and find that soda is too sweet. Has this been anyone else's experience? I hope that happens to me

Yes. Get LaCroix Peach/Pear. Know going in it will taste like arse. By the end of the 6er, you'll be fine. Two sixers in, you'll like it a lot. Goes great with Old Charter too.

The best and most simple answer is this: don't go into the center aisles at the grocery store unless you have a purpose (IE spices or coffee grounds). Shop on the outside aisles and don't buy bread.

The end

Quinoa isn't exactly "high carb". It is not a bad addition to a carb-cutting diet when in proper portions.

Milk normally has a ton of sugar in it.

Look for alternatives such as almond milk.

No milk..

Look into Camel Milk, it's the best milk for you..a little pricey but nothing can beat it

quote:

Camel milk is a rich source of proteins with potential antimicrobial and protective activities; these proteins are not found in cow milk or found only in minor amount.[citation needed] Camel milk has enough nutrients to sustain a person through the day. In many countries, camel milk is given to babies suffering from malnutrition.

quote:

Compared to cow, buffalo and ewe milk fat, camel milk fat contains fewer short-chained fatty acids, but the same long-chained fatty acids can be found. Some researchers claim that the value of camel milk is to be found in the high concentrations of linoleic acid among other polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are essential for human nutrition.[clarification needed] Camel milk has more fat and protein than cow's milk.[1] Cholesterol in camel milk is lower than cow or goat milk.

Camel milk has a high vitamin and mineral content and immunoglobin content.[2] Camel milk is three times higher in vitamin C than cow's milk and 10 times higher in iron. It is also high in unsaturated fatty acids and B vitamins but lower in vitamin A and B2 (than cow milk). The composition of camel milk depends on its feed and species: Bactrian milk has a higher fat content than dromedary milk.

Camel milk is lower in lactose than cow's milk.[3] However, levels of potassium,[3] magnesium, iron,[3] copper, manganese, sodium and zinc are higher than in cow's milk.

Eggs any way you like

MEAT (Bacon, sausage, poultry, beef, pork,fish... any meat is good)

Tons of water

Make sure you get at least a little bit of carbs every day, though. Don't want to cut them completely. They help with energy levels and brain activity.

They make low carb tortillas (Mission) that are good for quick snacks like a sliced turkey/ham rollup with cheese, etc.

Also, loading a baked potato with chicken or beef on it as well as the typical fixings around lunch time is a good idea.

Typical day for me goes about like this:

Breakfast: 3 eggs over medium w/ half link of smoked sausage. All skillet fried.

Lunch: Loaded baked potato with either beef or chicken. Sour cream, bacon, onions, cheese, butter.

If I am getting in any kind of exercise:

Dinner: Two tortillas, spread with butter, a slice of cheese each, and whatever sliced deli meat I have (Cajun Roasted Turkey right now). Minute and a half nuked and it is awesome. Workout goes down and then I go to bed.

If I am not exercising:

Dinner: Pork chops/chicken/beef/fish. Usually season it up however I like, and just eat copious amounts of it rather than struggling with time to make a bunch of sides. If I do have sides, it is usually a raw veggie of some sort with light ranch dressing.

Juice? Lolno. Wayyyy too much sugar if you want to get beach ready.

Think about how many grams of sugar are in one orange. Now think of how many oranges squeezed it takes to make a glass of orange juice.
