RIP Johnny, spent a many dollar in the Bastrop Johnny's growing up.

The Bastrop location may be the very best location. It was money in the 80s and early 90s.

RIP Johnny. The Sweep the Swamp pizza is probably the best pizza I've ever had

RIP Johnny. Best pizza ever. Grew up on pizza from Desiard, then T&C then McKeen. McKeen still favorite but Baton Rouge is great (and closer).

As for buffet, just need to be around when fresh pies come out.

I knew the owners of the one in DFW. They wanted to put it in the burbs but HQ forced them to put it in Addison, one of the most competitive places for restaurants in the whole country.

I took many non-Louisiana friends there and they loved it. I hated that it closed.

I've ate at a lot of different Johnny's and I rank Bastrop location #1.

Did not mean to downvote. My thumb.....

I practically grew up there as a kid. No telling how many birthdays of mine or friends were spent in there.

Nope, never been to one that far south. Is it better than the Bastrop location?

Also grew up in the Winnsboro Johnnys. It was more than the pizza, it was the entertainment. Still remember those days and nights in the 80s as a kid eating pizza, playing arcade games and listening to the jukebox. Particularly remember when "Swingin" was the biggest song in the world (the small world I lived in). Great times.

Condolences to his family

One guess accomplished your self sufficient offer.

Damn dude, you peaked too soon.

Not only in this thread but in life.

In your jeopardy, I'll repeat no Hail Marys and in your pity may the force be undisturbed by your soul.
