re: New JJ Abrams produced show Believe premieres tonight. Who is watching? - indianswim
[quote]Almost Human and Revolution both just kinda.. fizzled [/quote] Didn't try Almost Human, but Revolution and Alcatraz both started off with promise and "fizzled", as you put it. I just quit watching both and don't regret it at all. I'll probably DVR tonight, give it a shot, and see if it...

[quote]1) I would do dirty, dirty things to Lindsay Weir. [/quote] Linda Cardellini, so hot. I'm glad I know her real age because I feel a little dirty looking at her that way when she's playing a high school girl. Loved her in Grandma's Boy....

Edge of Tomorrow - indianswim
New flick with Tom Cruise coming out next year. Looks like a futuristic war movie mixed with Groundhog Day. Preview makes it look terrible. Anyone else seen the trailer for this? [link=(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vw61gCe2oqI)]Trailer[/link]...

re: Who's Some of Your Favorite Movie Antagonists - indianswim
Doyle Hargraves (Dwight Yoakam) is what I immediately thought of and glad it was the first listed. Winner! Also: Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York Hannibal Lector in Silence of the Lambs Darth Vader - Star Wars ep 4-6 (especially 5) Freddie Krueger The Devil (Elizabeth Hurley)- Bedazzl...

Pawn Shop Chronicles - indianswim
Saw this on On Demand last week. I've heard the MTVBoard talk about it being filmed, but never read any posts about the movie itself. Strange movie, but really entertaining. It's all over the place and is really funny at parts. It's violent and quirky at times, but the writing is pretty good....

re: What's a silly line that makes you laugh every single time - indianswim
Lot's of Dumb and Dumber lines on here, and appropriately so. But this one is my favorite: [link=(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiAAFjbvOsM)]Big Gulps[/link] So many to choose from in Major League, but I settled on this one: [link=(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9myYc8Pn8o)]One GD Hit[/l...

re: The Wolverine Sequel is in the Works AND Apparently Deadpool Could Follow Suit - indianswim
I get what you are all saying, but they are making money. Where movies with very cool superheros are also being made and tanking for one reason or another. Green Lantern is a great comic, but this movie was considered a bomb. Granted, it was poor execution, but aren't you arguing that the Wol...

re: Survivor: Blood vs. Water - indianswim
Great season so far. Interesting dynamic with the loved ones, as it really changes their strategies. It's interesting to see how the vets play vs their loved ones. The vets know the psychological warfare that goes on and that totally upended Colton. The newbies think they know, but are actually ...

re: The Greatest American Hero - indianswim
Cheers is on Netflix now, too. My parents loved this show and it was syndicated pretty late, so I watched many episodes as a youngster, but couldn't fully appreciate most of it. The writing for Cheers was awesome and still holds up. There's a reason some consider this ONE of the greatest sitc...

re: In honor of Halloween, your top 3 horror movie villains - indianswim
But per the OP, was SotL a horror flick? No. So Hannibal Lector doesn't really qualify. He also plays the hero, of sorts, in Hannibal. For me, top 3: Michael Myers Poltergeist (the old man) Dr Ketchum/George Lutz...
