The last 2 years we have rented a suite at the Mavericks game. I don't know what we will do this year.

I was at a conference in DC back in October with about 1000 ppl and we rented out the Newseum for a party, it was incredible.

We do a party every year at the Camelot Club in BR. We have food and an open bar. The workers located in Chicago and DC fly in and us in NOLA make the drive over. We get hotel rooms downtown. We play the White Elephant game where there's always loads of booze being stolen. Then we typically hit a bar or two afterwards. No one has any issue letting loose in my group.
The only thing that sucks is that it's ALWAYS a weekday. But at least we don't have to be at the office until after 9 the next morning.
