Party is technically at Tableau then heading to the quarter afterwards.

We do a party every year at the Camelot Club in BR. We have food and an open bar. The workers located in Chicago and DC fly in and us in NOLA make the drive over. We get hotel rooms downtown. We play the White Elephant game where there's always loads of booze being stolen. Then we typically hit a bar or two afterwards. No one has any issue letting loose in my group.
The only thing that sucks is that it's ALWAYS a weekday. But at least we don't have to be at the office until after 9 the next morning.
Pretty much the same for us except we are going to New Orleans. It is next Thursday. Various stuff throughout the day, the actual "party" that evening where clients are also invited.. and then hotel rooms for all of us and our significant others with the expectation that we will go out and whatnot.
Not sure what time we are expected back in the office (they confirmed it wouldn't be the normal 8AM).. just hoping it isn't too early since I am the person who wakes up at 7:30 when in BR to make it to work for 8-8:15.

I know it's on the weekend so I don't have to go to work drunk the next morning.
I'd never want a work event on a weekend.
