Absolutely baw!! I prefer Brandon that’s where I live! Madison is nice top golf and golf suites are both expected next year! Just don’t buy a house in Jackson

Correct. There isn't a location in Texas I'd rather live in over Northwest Arkansas or Mountain Brook.

Petal is a good up and coming area too. MS has more going for it than LA these days, and a ton of LA expats living there.

Has a great collection of chain restaurants. Pretty much has one of each.

There are some good local spots in Madison, but unfortunately most of the best local spots are in Jackson (though who knows if they will stay there with the continued water crisis).

Never been to Prairieville, but I can say, Madison is pretty great, except most residents have an undying, sickening devotion to all things Ole Miss……

I live in Hattiesburg and can agree with the traffic comment. You just have to stay off of 98/ Hardy. There are roads that run parallel to it on the north and south sides. Its easy to avoid

Metairie... especially Old Metairie, is better for raising a family then Hattiesburg. Uptown New Orleans is better than Hattiesburg. Hattiesburg has a lot of crime and it is getting worse.

This is something only someone from New Orleans would say

You just used crime as a detractor from Hattiesburg while comparing it to New Orleans

I live in Petal, but work in Hattiesburg . I have to take 98 everyday to get to 59 and I fricking hate it. Traffic light issues, dumbasses stuck in the middle of intersections, etc

I was just talking about on the way home. I work right off 98, so I have to take it to and fro.

I’m on Gandy everyday
