Where's My Refund?

Same issue here. Still no update on my return. System not even recognizing return, but TurboTax shows accepted. Status Quo on the folks in the DoR not being helpful at all. Was told because this was my first time filing is why it hasn't showed up yet (just moved here last year, but calling bullshite anyway ).

Good luck everyone.

This is why giving interest free loans to the government is a bad idea. Personally I always try to owe a little money every year for that reason. You always are more likely to pay your taxes on time than get your refund on time.

Anyone read some of the FAQs on the Revenue website?

quote:

The school that my child attends requires that a certain style and color of shoe must be worn. Would the purchase of these shoes qualify as an eligible expense for the tax deduction?

Some schools require that students must wear a particular type of outfit or uniform. If the school requires that the outfit worn by its students must also include certain types of shoes and socks, the shoes and socks are part of the dress requirements for that school’s uniforms and is an eligible expense for the tax deduction.

Yesterday was my day 60. Called and was told that the 60 days is only the hold process for the ID verification and that they begin processing the return on the 60th day, which makes zero sense. I told them that their website says that the processing of returns can take "up to 60 days." which implies a maximum limit. She said it could take 2 more weeks. I asked her why they their website doesn't say "up to 75 days" and was transferred up to processing where I was told the same. They said they would bump mine up in line. We'll see.

They're probably waiting on those of us that have to pay so they can send you your check. It'll be a few more weeks before we do so. Sorry.

You obviously don't understand how the government works. Also, please note that people in this thread are still waiting on tax returns from last year when Jindal was Gov.

Do you receive any notice of the refund if you have direct deposit set up, or does it just drop into your account?

I got this on Monday. I filed on March 2nd for some work I did in LA in early 2015. As of this morning, still hasn't deposited into my account.

"Your refund has been forwarded to your financial institution. Please allow 2 business days for the refund to post to your account. If you have not received your refund within this time, please contact your bank. If you have not received your refund after 30 business days, please call us at 855-307-3893 during regular business hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:20 P.M and Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:20 P.M."
