Is Coursey Blvd. between Sherwood Forest and Stumberg the next Florida Blvd?

Overgrown grass, high turnover restaurants, delapitaded strip malls, eyesores of vacant buildings (Jack n Box and Carwash - Stumberg intersection). Also, Sherwood Acres apartments on Coursey look really rough comoared to 10 years ago.

It's the next Airline between Old Woman's Hosp and where Circuit City used to be.

Man, tell me about it. I hate to overreact, but it really isn't what it used to be and it's on a precipitous decline IMO.

Sherwood Forest started to decline in the 2000's.... It's all downhill from here.

True. Especially close to Florida blvd. I just noticed how Coursey is beginning to show its wear and tear.

Illini, you should have seen it in the mid - late 90's. Things were so much better and it was aesthetically pleasing.

No business really does all that well on Coursey between Sherwood and Hickory Ridge .. But, once your cross Sherwood to Airline, they're just fine .. Coursey is a speedway to work from 6A-9A and home from work from 4P-6P ..

all I know is you're taking your life into your own hands at those gas stations late at night...the racetrack on Sherwood too across from DQ

The Winn Dixie does really well

I live right off of Coursey by the Paul Mitchell school and yes it has definitely declined in the last ten years. However I think it has some years left before its unliveable. The new housing development and the Paul Mitchel school have breathed done new life into the area. I wouldn't be surprised if some new shopping centers start being built in place of older ones. We shall see.

Used to could turn a nice coin in the area delivering pizzas.

I'm one of BR's more staunch supporters on this board .. But I've given up on projecting which areas will go "south" and which will hang in there or thrive ..

Strange, never feared for my life at Race Track.

It's pretty rough at that Racetrac. I wouldn't go there past a certain time.
