If evolution is a lie, why do we share every physical characteristic with other animals?

I mean, if the fundies are right and we were created separate and apart from the animals, then why do we have the same characteristics as them?
Cell biology
Central nervous system
2 hemisphere brain
2 eyes, ears, nostrils, upper and lower limbs, testicles, ovaries
Articulated spines
Hair
Sexual reproduction
I could go on

If we came from apes, why are there still apes? If there can be apes and man, why aren't there any cromagnon men walking around? Why aren't all the evolutionary links walking around? We have apes, a few broken skull fragments, and men. Nothing else in between. Shouldn't there be lots of prehistoric skeletons of man in the upper sediment layers that we dig through to find dinosaur bones? We can find whole dinosaur skeletons deep in the earth but no complete cromagnon or other evolutionary man skeletons? Seems odd.
