Why can't evolution be the "how" of intelligent design?

ID suggests God designed us in our current form. Evolution suggests we emerged from some other natural process that didn't involve God at all. The two ideas are fundamentally incompatible.

Ear bones were once jaw bones

Correct. Evolution of a large dentary was one of the key features when moving from non-mammalian synapsids to early mammals.

The jaw bone was once comprised of smaller bones such as the squamosal (if I remember correctly) and some others. These bones gradually evolved into the inner ear. A single lower dentary provided more strength for early mammals

Also we share DNA with every living thing.

I wish.. I'm usually stuck sharing my DNA with my sock and other inanimate objects.

Incorrect.

We are Homo sapiens

Before us came other species of the Homo genus. Such as H. habilis, H. erectus and H. ergaster . All documented very well in the fossil record.

If you want to read more on it, Google A. afarensis , better known as "Lucy". Came before Homo and is the first definitive evidence of bipedalism (walking on two feet) in a human like species.

Crazy thing is that fossil was discovered only 40 years ago. Very interesting stuff

Saw Lucy (it’s a traveling exhibit I believe). Very interesting stuff for sure.

God literally gave the Old Testament to Moses and Jesus more or less wrote the New Testament but the apostles changed it up a little bit

Anytime we have one of these threads, this passage from Romans comes to mind....

quote:

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Try telling me that does not describe modern society perfectly.

Look at the complexity of the human ear. You have an outer ear that is shaped to amplify sounds, an auditory canal that amplifies low sounds of human speech. tympanic membrane that vibrates with the sound moving 3 of the smallest bones in the body with the smallest bone moving fluid within the cochlea. The fluid moves, setting into motion 25,000 nerve endings which send an electrical signal to your brain via your auditory nerve. Your brain then processes the signal and you hear. And all of this happens almost instantaneously. (

This sounds too complicated to have been designed, tbh.

But makes more sense it came together by a random series of likewise random mutations?
