We were on the quarter system-$295/quarter freshman year and $425 by my senior year. I saved about $3500 from having a paper route for 8 years and a few summer jobs. That paid for two years of college. Try doing that these days.

1992-1993 about $50 a credit hour at community college. I think I took 12 credits so 12 X 450 = $600 (plus associated fees).

Northern Illinois, 1981. $425 per sesmeter. Cheaper than the $999 for my senior year at Carmel Catholic High for Boys.

Was fall 1972, around $375.00 tuition for around 16 hours.

Room and board in the dorms with a 3 meal a day 7 days a week meal ticket was $125.00 per month.

My on campus job working about 15 hours a week at minimum wage of $2.10 was enough to my monthly room and board.

Mine was 492.00. But I started after you. Also the 492.00 was for 15 hours or 21 hours.

I forgot there was a 25.00 Student Activity Fee. So really 518.00.

Paid 1/2 at registration, then 2 quarterly payments the next 2 months.

I'm currently in my last semester at LSU. First semester 2012 just tuition was ~$2600, this semester's tuition was well over $3700. Don't forget that this semester they've added a brand new student excellence fee of $125.
