Because Apple customers are cult like.

Sitting in here looking around and these employees treat the customers like trash. No please, no thank you, no welcome or anything at all. They tell them to step aside or get out the way, goddamn man.

They know their customers are sheeple.

Seriously though. Try and go find the folder where they go. I couldn't, and when I asked the response is "just burn a cd from iPhoto".

I guess Apple thinks if you're stupid enough to pay $800 for a cell phone, then they can get away with treating you like shite.

I still would like to know where my actual picture files went

your biggest problem OP is shopping an an overpriced store with inferior products
Posted on 2/21/17 at 7:01 pm to knowingabyss
I have family that works at Apple, and she would give literally anyone the shirt off her back.
The products are overpriced but the service is fantastic.

They bend over backwards at my Apple Store.
Probably the same one I have been to.
I am not an Apple person but my dad gave me his old MacBook when he got a new laptop years ago. I took it because, hey, thanks dad, why not. A year later I had a hardware issue and went to the store to see what was up because I don't know my well around Apple hardware.
Went to the store and the guy bent over backwards to accommodate the issue when he could have royally upcharged my ignorant arse. Got out of there cheap.

quote:They get evasive and crabby any time you ask about iPhone and photos, as in how do I get them off my phone without losing them? I know the pat answer is - download them or copy and paste to your computer. Try doing that with Windows 10. It is like trying to hold a conversation in Swahili, with someone whose main language is Mandarin Chinese.
But, as soon as you ask "where are the actual files saved when I import pictures" (or some other basic question, they see you have questioned them and get defensive.

I've only had positive experiences with apple actually

Are they wearing hard hats? People will do whatever you tell them if you have a hard hat on.

I had a customer leave me a key to his house and tell me to lock up and left me a check and told me to fill it in, so he could run to the Apple store, because they called him with a one hour window to return. People act like the techs there are magicians.
