It isn't that hard to make

The one on the Wank is still legit. Had it yesterday. Chicken fingers were nice and big.

im in ohio right now and i would pretty much do anything for some zaxby's or cane's so you wont find me complaining on the occasions i get to have either.
i did recently find a popeye's though, so things are looking up

My family has been making that shite since the early 80s. I think it's a North Alabama thing. Just mayo, ketchup, tabasco, garlic powder, lots of black pepper, salt and worcestshire.
Let it sit in the fridge overnight so the flavors blend.
Sub Heinz 57 for a tangier, bolder version.
I kind of prefer the one with Heinz myself.

Zaxby's >>>>> Guthrie's >>>>>> Canes

At least we agree that Cane's is by far the worst.

I'd still take Canes over Mcdonalds or Burger King

The chicken market has been tough the past few years. Probably took on a different product to cut on costs and keep prices down.
most definitely. i know a few years back tyson literally couldnt keep up with the premium tenders due to the ridiculous amount of chicken canes sold. they had to go to other suppliers and it has never been the same since.

my consumption has decreased just like the size of the chicken.

When canes arrived in my area all the LA transplants were like OMG TejasHorn this is the nectar of the heavens!!!
So I went as soon as I could... and haven't been back since. Sorry I didn't get to try it in its heyday.

Canes should only be eaten once a year. You will be somewhat satisfied but think to yourself "I won't be craving that crap for another year"
Posted on 12/9/14 at 6:04 am to GregMaddux
I avoid it like the plague now. It's more expensive, not nearly as filling, and no where near as good as it was 3-4 years ago. Except the sweet tea. Their sweet tea is still good.

Hit the one by Bluebonnet and Perkins recently and the fries had that stinky old oil taste - not edible. Shitty.

I know Canes chicken has gotten smaller but I still visit when I M in town. In South Florida we have Popeyes. All I get are their tenders and they are huge.

Haha love this conversation. I ate cane's fairly often at different locations and it is always extremely consistent and delicious. I've been eating it for a long time and while, yes they chicken is a little smaller, it is just as good as ever. This is the common "things were better back in the day" conversation.

I've eaten one on Alex twice and it's fine.
Fresh not soggy, never ate at a location enough times to say if strips are amaller.

No, it isn't.
Your fat has blinded your eyes to the mediocrity that is canes.
It was good, and now it isn't. This is the common, "loss of quality with quantity" conversation.
