Kind of used to feel bad for you but you are basically relishing in the idea of a horrific tragedy, just to get a rise out of people. To go that far just for grins on the internet takes it to a whole new level of being a piece of shite on this site.

There's also such a thing as internal decapitation..which is just scary to read about.

This 4 year old survived. I have no idea how.

Only speculating... but technically a 'decapitation' is not necessarily head completely detached from the body. An Atlanto-Axial dislocation/fracture can be called decapitation because the skull is separated from the neck.

Usually a life threatening, fatal injury because the fracture damages respiratory center in the brain stem thus you stop breathing...

No, the ride is not open, and the quotes about is being 'dangerous safe' were from several years ago.

Is page 5 too soon to make an Austin Powers joke?

If I had to guess the front of the raft went airborn when it picked up enough speed towards the bottom of the first hill. The lightest person (boy) was in front right? And that never should happen it should be the heaviest to keep the nose of the raft down. The front of the raft lift up and the boy's head was thrown into the netting.

If I had to guess the safety inspections used mannequins of the same weight? Wouldn't take much to lift a boy of 75 lbs up on a raft like that dropping that far.

I doubt he lost his head completely because there was a report of mom running up and screaming "he's not moving." I think she would have yelled something different if his head was gone.

The victim's father is a State Representative......beyond the civil suit, lawmakers are going to go in dry on that park.

I think the more accurate headline would be the boy was cervical dislocated

This article goes into the details of what happened.

Apparently his 12 year old brother witnessed the entire thing.
