My exact reaction. Poor family. Couldn't imagine losing a 10 year old let alone losing him by decapitation. Jesus Christ. At least shut the park down out of respect for a while.

It was shut down Monday and Tuesday, and I'm sure that particular ride is still shut down.

Yeah that's an extremely misleading article. That quote is from the initial opening a couple years ago of the slide.
