mid city is pretty suburban itself. With just less defined boundaries. if that makes sense

Yeah I figured that as well. Which is why I mentioned uptown

If it's gonna take me 20 minutes to get to school everyday though I'm not sure its worth it.

The less suburbia of the two (lakeview and mid city) would be mid city though, correct?

I'm originally from Shreveport and it is the a-hole of the world.
Anyone from Shreveport that hits on NO is suspect as LF would say.

Very much. I'd live in Lakeview over Midcity if I had kids and shite. Or if I was a generally boring person.

We're such great people. Helping OT ballers find the right places to live and such.

Great job everyone.

yea. Though id say the demographics of lakeview are the same as the good places you'd want to live in mid city. The people wont be much different.

the difference with mid city is the history or age i would say. The feel is different.

Baton Rouge is terrible.

Meh, I'm from here and don't find it to be "terrible" really. I love living in the Garden District. You just have to be realistic about the city and its limitations. There's plenty to do, but it's not New Orleans and never ever will be.

If you live on the Carrolton side of Uptown you can probably get to school in 15 mins or so.
