BUDS prep exit PST scores in 2016 were:

1000 meter swim (with dive fins): 14:35

Push ups (2 minutes): 74

Sit ups (2 minutes): 90

Pull ups: 16

4 mile run (on track): 27:32

All calisthenics were 100% proper form. Any reps performed incorrectly were deducted. 10 minute rest after swim, 2 minutes between push sit pull, and 10 minutes before the start of the run.

74 inches tall and 200 lbs.

Loved my Machine Gunners but damn they were a rowdy bunch (got a great story about a fight they got in with the SAR Det while deployed. They identified my Marines by matching the tread of their boots to the squids faces).

As far as being in shape I was basically elite level while in the Corps. Fastest 3 mile run was 15:46. Could dead hang 30 pull ups easy and never tried to more than the 100 max on the sit ups but could go all day. I really got strong as shite when I during my first MEUSOC. Lifting weights for 6 months on ship underway gets you super strong because all of the stabilization muscles that are required. Went on board weighing 190 lbs and maxing maybe 315 once. Got home and was 205 lbs shredded and could do sets at 325 lbs easy. The second deployment I really started throwing up serious weight.

But as some one posted earlier: "I'm a shell of my former self. But the memories of my peak years are fond memories I will never get". Now I still have my strength but am a very healthy 250 lbs and my only cardio is walking or exercise machines in the gym to keep the strain off my knees.

Best overall shape, probably when I finished boot camp

Most muscle, I set out on a deployment to bulk up, got up to the heaviest I've been, 205

For reference I'm 175 now, 5'11". Lots of peanut butter and lifting at least once a day,
sometimes twice

ETA: navy so I didn't have much else to do on an aircraft carrier

Spring training during freshman year of juco football, I did 1000 up-downs in two days as punishment from coach for being caught drunk and underage by the police. I had to do them right after three hours of regular lifting and running stadiums.

Didn't puke once.

Never went to buds. I was a candidate in another special operations group in the Navy but I got hurt during training. I took the exit PST with the buds prep guys just to see where I stood on the charts.

Oh alright brother. You had damn good scores you ought to consider putting in for buds given your swim times or swcc

I wish there was a military board here

I would love to, but the Navy is scoping my knee for the second time. This time for ACL reconstruction. I think the high risk training days are over for me!

Same!

When I was 17, I was 218 lbs and could scrunch real hard and see an outline of a six pack.

34 waist 54 chest. Had to special order a letter jacket.

Benched 365, leg press over 1000

Not the best shape though. When I was in the army, I got smaller (initially) but could run 2 miles in 13 minutes. By the time I was in my late 20's, I was pushing 250.

I slipped on the ice in the 90's and that's when the sciatica started. My knees are good but I get these periodic "shocks" in my lower back that will bring me to my knees. But I get what you are saying and that's why I walk so much. My real issue is lack of flexibility and that's probably a lot more my fault. I'll work on that. I could really improve.
