At 40+ I ran 3 marathons a year and did a few different climbs. Pre 38, I was hawking the clubs and the women hard.
Back tracked some of the answers. At 44 I was 175# with a 28" waist, the Rainier climb had me nervous.

Were you a frickin punter? There's no 190 lb college football players that are 13% body fat

It's actually 3.1 miles and yes I know it's slow as shite.
You don't know how fat Paul Allen is. He couldn't run a 5k in 60 minutes.

This. And don't say you're estimating because they do quality testing in d1 football to determine BF

I got measured at 18 and I was 7.5% body fat
Bet I'm pushing 25% now

In high school the most pushups I could do in one session without pausing was around 160. I could pin my wrestling coach that outweighed me by 80-90 pounds. But my physical peak was in my 20s. I had single digit body fat percentage, would get up at 4 am to go jogging, could run a 4.5 40, worked out at the State Police gym till near exhaustion and went back home to shower, routinely vomiting in the shower. I could be sitting on the floor and do a press to a handstand.
Nowadays, I can't see my own penis when looking down in the shower. I'd probably pause after 30-35 pushups. Would probably take me over 10 minutes to run a mile. I'm a shell of my former self. But the memories of my peak years are fond memories I will never get.

From the age of 36-44 I was in the best shape ever. Daily workouts and lots of roundball.

When I was 20, was working long hours delivering hot tubs, building pools, and pool tables. I've pretty much always been "country strong", but doing that job I really started to get jacked. Got my weight down to 225, had a 4 pack with a tire below it I couldn't lose. Was able to flip a 750 lb hot tub end over end up a set of steps by myself, could carry 225 lb pieces of slate in my hands, and bear hug carry 400 lb pool walls by myself. Was also a good bit faster than I was in high school when I was 255 and could run a 4.95 40.
Now? My body is shot to shite. 1 shoulder with a 30 lb restriction, other shoulder is slowly joining it, right hip labrum is starting to go, and been on crutches 14 times (ish) from rolling my ankles.
I'm only 30.
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

Freshman year of college. Played soccer and went up three weeks early for camp. Coach was a fitness freak and always said we weren't going to lose because of fitness levels. We didn't see a ball for the first week and half.
Up at 6:00 every morning for a five mile run, then breakfast. Then suicides the length of the field for about an hour. Agility drills and then push ups and sit ups. Every player had to finish 5 miles in less than 32 minutes within those three weeks. When camp was over I was 5'9" and like 142 pounds with almost zero fat. All this in August in the Mississippi heat. Did not play my sophomore year..

You don't bench with your biceps. Go to a gym and educate yourself.

You don't bench that much and not work your biceps and shoulders which guess what
HUGELY IMPORTANT FOR A WR for ball security, blocking, pushing off defenders
