HUGELY IMPORTANT FOR A WR for ball security, blocking, pushing off defenders

We worked plenty on biceps and shoulders. Our strength coaches made us hate doing curls or any bicep workout because the ones they had us do were torture.

We also had to do a plate circuit for shoulders that was torture as well.

I didn't have the biggest visible arms but I was still able to put up the numbers I listed. Also if you saw my before and after pics it would be impressive. I came in at 155.

Can you please tell the WR that played high D-1 football more about what it takes to be a WR?

17 years old - 22 years old

Graduated HS at 135 lbs. 11% body fat. Ran a mile in 6:03 . Could do 70 push ups in a row. Did 300 push ups every night ( 25 reps x 12 sets) could bench press 180 lbs.

Age 49: weigh 212 lbs. can't run for shite. Would pull a calf muscle with a full jog. Have diabetes. Low T. 60lbs overweight. Have trouble with motivation at the gym.

Gotta be some changes made.

Senior year of football in college

195 pounds at 13% body fat

4.6 40 time

305 bench max, 9x 225 on the rep test

275 incline max

255 power clean max

475 squat max

Was able to do a double stadium snake at old Amon G. Carter Stadium, had no issues with the Magic Mile as well that killed me 2 years earlier and caused me to pass out

Working my way up to getting back into that kind of shape again. Right now 162 pounds probably 12-13% body fat. Visible abs. Did 5x230 on the bench this morning.

Look into TRT and if you can afford it hire a trainer for a few sessions and focus them on developing a plan to follow over the course of a year then do like 1x session a month

TRT is testosterone replacement therapy

Holy shite man, you are so right.
Good for me the early extremes were non physical.
The later caused me harm, but doable type harm.
Good luck Bro.

Just remember, life after 40 is nothing like life before 40. No matter what you used to do, you aint doing shite later. Enjoy it while you can.

I am taking AndroGel two pumps per day. I need to stop making excuses and force myself to hit the weights regularly. I had a trainer about four years ago but it got expensive. I have to make up my mind on how much I want to be healthy. T numbers at 210. Very low
