Maybe but I bet Pass Christian has to be up there.

Ocean Springs is ranked higher.

US News

We sent a few kids to pretty prestigious universities. I took my talents to Baton Rouge

Our generation was pretty much first generation for higher ed on my parent's side so I was enthralled by the stadium.

From when I was there, I seriously doubt it.

But it depends on how they are measuring. I would put OS's best against any of the High schools. We would also lose a few of them to the MS School of Math and Science regularly.

Pass is always one of the best HS in the state but I would recommend a lot of the coast HS like Ocean Springs and several others. My kids graduated from Pass and college was free bc of academic scholarships.

Gulfport and Biloxi are also excellent schools

Ya, like many high schools in the area, there are essentially two high schools in the building.

One for the students taking AP classes, etc. Those kids can compete with most kids across the country.

Everyone else.

Mostly private over here in the Bay. There're separate boys and girls Jr high and high schools, but on the same general property.

The Bay kicks arse though.

You are completely out of the loop.

Madison is a MSU town.
Madison schools have been as good if not better than anywhere else in the state for the last 15 years.

I guess this explains why you've toned down the super duper militant atheist schtick.

May be visiting Madison in a month and have been told we're going to Mama Hammill's. Is it as good as Yelp says it is?

I live at Lake Caroline.

some people can't get past the Mississippi part of Madison, MS, but this is one of the nicest places to live in the South.

Mama hamils is a Mississippi treasure. It's good, but you can only really eat there once every six months.

It's a buffet. It's good but there are wayyyyyy better restaurants. Walker's, Seafood R'evolution, Shapley's, Tico's.
