Great place to visit and have a good time. Living there sucks for many reasons IMHO

New Orleans as an outsider seemed like a fun place to visit, but a shitty place to live. Then I married a girl from New Orleans and got to experience it with her and her friends who grew up there. I'd definitely live there now. Lot's of very young/up and coming areas to be a part of with lots of entertaining things to do

I'll bet
However, even when I lived there, I had to go down to the quarter ever so often just to keep current. Pre-Katrina though, Nawlins is different post, in not altogether a bad way.

My condolences haha My father did the same thing and I fully admit my mom is batshite crazy, though I would say NOLA only accounts for 3/4 of her craziness.

Yea, you could have lusted over some 20 year olds playing baseball with other grown men and then wrapped up with a fancy dinner at Boutin's

That has changed drastically. The city is in a complete and total renaissance. It is actually pretty crazy to see.

Negative. Its still spot on. Go. Party like an animal there and get the hell out at daylight.

The way people think about NOLA, wouldn't daylight be too late? If not, why not stay for the day and for what it's worth stay that night……...

Thought they were only BT's if issued in NOLA? My bad.

New Orleans greatest strength is also it's greatest weakness: No one give a frick. People might pretend every once in a while to give a fleeting frick, but they always fall back in to the frickless rhythm. It's a give and take. Love/Hate. Pick your saying.
