It's a little overboard to say no one would come. However I'm surprised so many people disagree that the FQ is our bread and butter when it' comes to tourism. As much as locals hate it, it's our main draw.

That whole thing kinda got twisted, he said NOLA is only good for the night then to GTFO in daylight, it was disagreed and said that other parts of the city are better than the FQ, then he came back with the "city would cease to exist without the FQ"
It was a weird deflection/straw man thing. I got confused and quit.

Hated nola as a tourist. Have an appreciation for it now that my daughter lives there. Love to visit for restaurants/entertainment/art. Could not live there due to the parking situation/smell/annoying crazy homeless people.

LOVE texas hill country. I win the lottery I am buying a house there immediately (also have a child in the area).

Yeah, I find it very difficult to park in Lakeview.

In most areas I don't really see the parking problems. I mean yea it was weird at first not being able to pull right up in front of whatever restaurant or bar I wanted to go in, but I never find myself having to walk that far unless downtown, and then I just cab it usually.

I think people get anxiety about street parking when they're not used to it. Same with all the u-turns. I hated them at first. I'm a bit of a fan now, no waiting on jackasses to turn left when you wanna go straight
