The 4 doors come as 2WD. 4WD is an upgrade

It's a transgender Jeep. Like a dude with no balls.

So you can put a cool light bar on it, some fancy angel eyes, a trick color matched grill and rims, take the top off and put a bikini on it, an upgraded stereo, and remove the doors so you can hang a leg out. That's why most people buy Jeeps.

Kind of like 2wd trucks with off road tires. See them all the time.

I was test driving a few several years back. The sales guy and my wife wanted me to drive a JKU. We got out in it and after a few minutes I looked down and asked him where the transfer case lever was. I thought maybe on the new ones it was a push button. He said it was 2wd. As if 4 doors wasn't bad enough. I'll never own one.

Because 99% of the Jeeps that you see driving around never actually get put into 4x4 anyway. Why pay for something you will never need? Not that I would ever buy a 2wd btw.

Didn't even know they made 2wd wranglers. Had one (4wd) when I was in the USAF. Great time to time car, terrible everyday car.

It is kind of like a sports car with an automatic transmission or a guy who can't change his own oil on his car.

It is an "inclusive" idea that makes everyone feel better about themselves.

No different than the desk jockey baw with the jacked diesel F-250. He'll tell you he needs it for hunting but he's probably going down a gravel road a crown victoria could handle.

Unrelated but this guy also wears nothing but fishing shirts.

Man, that's about as bad as a Hummer 3.

Actually, a 2WD Tacoma with a locker and A/T or M/T tires can get to most places a full size 4wd can.

Perhaps I should have been more specific.

Like 2WD jacked up F250's or Silverados with M/Ts that need to be pulled out of muddy puddles they shouldn't be playing in. Tacoma has an advantage because of weight.
