re: Alternatives to the Big Green Egg - MotorBoater
I have the Cypress Cooker as they call it. It's sold by Bayou Classic. The same company that does all the crawfish pots and stuff. I'm satisfied so far. I've had it for about 6 yrs. the first weekend using it the lid hinge jammed and I cracked the lid in half. I called them and explained what ha...

re: 1 dead 1 seriously injured in NOLA ATV/dirt bike vs car last night - MotorBoater
There is almost no win for the cops in this situation. If they chase these fools and end up wrecking into an innocent family and killing a child and mother what would we think then? As mush as I hate seeing the bikers get away with it I would much rather a 400lb dirt bike t-bone me than the 8000lb c...

re: Man detonates fridge filled with explosives, is nearly killed - MotorBoater
I watched it about 100 times trying to tell if it is fake. Only thing I can come up with is the door was riding the shockwave. It flys to straight in my opinion. ...

re: Trim material for closet - MDF, poplar, or pine? - MotorBoater
They do sell mdf in 12" and 16" wide pcs and up to 16ft long lengths. That's what most of the current custom closet contractors use. Then they will use a 1x2 on the front side for support and strength. ...

re: 2WD Jeep Wrangler - MotorBoater
Because 99% of the Jeeps that you see driving around never actually get put into 4x4 anyway. Why pay for something you will never need? Not that I would ever buy a 2wd btw. ...

re: Video, beagle puppies on a rabbit - MotorBoater
My father in law field trials beagles. He has created his own bloodline and has people from all over the country drive their dogs to his house to breed. He has one worth thousands. Well he constantly watches videos on YouTube of beagles running rabbits and barking at volume levels that should be il...

Y'all do know it doesn't reuse the same towel over and over right? It comes from a fresh roll at the top and then re-rolls the towel into the lower compartment. ...

re: How was your Tickfaw 200 experience this weekend? - MotorBoater
Anyone know what happens up river and made the coast guard and wildlife and fisheries boats fly through the no wake zone by the prop stop? Must have been around 3 o'clock. I know the boats tied up to the dock were being beat together from the wake. The owners had to be pissed! ...

re: How was your Tickfaw 200 experience this weekend? - MotorBoater
Put my boat in the water at 7am Saturday morning at the public launch by Boopaloo's to beat the crowds. We spent the day tied up to a camp across from the prop stop. Went over to the prop stop around 5ish and they were already saying the bar was closed and turned us away. Then had to wait for a rid...

re: Drywall question - MotorBoater
I'm pretty sure it should be 5/8 fire rated that is two layers thick. I think it also goes from the roof decking to the slab with no protrusions unless firecaulked. And by two layers it could be one sheet thick per side. But please verify. ...
