I couldn't appreciate y'all more for everything you do. I think I got here +- 15 years ago under a username I have long forgotten. This biz isn't easy and is getting harder by the day as I can attest to first hand. Every post any Member types could potentially wind up giving us sentences to federal prison if Section 230 is repealed.
I showed up on the Outdoor Board after a Google search of something duck hunting related. After my first post those guys all said don't take that attitude to the Rant or you will get smoked.

Think I’m running up on 7 but read the rant a while before discovering the OT. My FiL would be discussing the upcoming game and would start off by saying “it was on tiger droppings…..) and I thought man those guys sound insane. He was right.

TD is easily one of the best message boards, or really website, on the internet. When this all started, there were tons of random message boards everywhere and most places did a decent job of moderating and not policing every thought that was considered counter culture. TD was among the best at this back then, and over time it has only gotten better. I attribute this all to Chicken’s leadership and making good choices of who he’s had help out.
Today, TD is a diamond in the rough as it has stood firm on good principles on how to run things. You won’t find that anywhere else.

Been here little over 20 but really was even before then. Before the current software when it was the old 90s style format. I came over from tiger forums and used to mainly post there in 2001 but was still over here some in 2002 and early 2003 but then Brett started charging over there and I was out.
Been a crazy 2 decades. I graduated, did stint in the army, got married had kids m, built houses all kinds of things. Crazy to think about

Going on 17 years. Met lots of folks on here through the years and heeded lots of advice. Made it through college, own my own business, bought a house, got married and have a daughter on the way all while visiting TD daily. My wife is still amazed when she tries to break news to me and I already know!
