Pretty much every restaurant in Gulf Shores/OB unless you go to the more expensive places serve white fish.
A couple years ago I served fresh grouper tacos instead of white fish tacos. We had so many complaints from the tourists that the fish was too fishy. $2.15 a pound for white fish. $11.99 a...

This area has found its niche market of tourist that want fried seafood and fish that doesn’t taste like fish. When I travel I’m overwhelmed with the abundance of food options that we don’t have here in LA. ...

Sloop is great. We also enjoy Beach House Kitchen on west beach. The Cove has an excellent Burger. Tin Top for Steaks and baked oysters. Voyagers in Perdido Beach Resort for special occasions. Waiting on the new Irish Bar Galway to open up. Menu looks appealing. ...

They will reopening in a brand new building on the Bon Secour River just south of where they are located now. Building is gorgeous with a great view. Hopefully the food stays on par or improves. Ice House opened in Gulf Shores last Fall. Seems to be the same family of owners as Baton Rouge Ice House that also had Cadillac Cafe. It’s funny someone mentioned The Station because it has that vibe here. Older locals early then late night service industry/tourist mix. They also serve food and cat...
