Dude I was agreeing with you... I meant you change up the coverage in games. But its not like they were taking Cbs off them and putting LBs on them. It was mostly CBs on them.

And well yeah when the other guy was off the field you can double them. Thats not saying much though. But, you said that teams doubled OBJ which opened things up underneath for Jarvis. Thats what sparked this entire thing. Yet the only example of them being double teamed is when OBJ was out the game and they were actually double teaming Jarvis.

The point I've been trying to make is that against single high safety coverages, the safety tended to shade to Beckham's side to take away or give help on deep routes. That in return opened up areas for Landry to work. That's simple route combination 101.

I think OBJ will bust. I DO NOT want him. Only realistic player that is worse is KB. If we get Fuller over Verrett I will cry...I think Verrett is the best corner in this draft.

Dude thats not the point youve been trying to make. You said he was double teamed, which opened things up for Jarvis on those intermediate routes. A safety doesnt guard intermediate routes in the first place. And most of the time they saw 2 high safeties. And rarely were Jarvis and OBJ on the same side.

You are trying to make an excuse as to why OBJ struggled against better opponents and Jarvis played better by flipping it around. But its not working and its not true. And you keep crawfishing. I mean you said the reason Jarvis played better was because OBJ went against double teams, which opened up areas for Jarvis. And the only example of a team doubling 1 of those WRs was when OBJ was out and it was a double team on Jarvis. That goes against your entire premise.

It may be a reach but with the run on wrs early on Landry could be the steal of the draft

Not a reach at all.

And thats if there is a run on WRs. When 1 position it loaded more so than others in the draft, 2 things happen. Either everyone takes 1 early on, or everyone waits on them.

I think ESPN had like 8 WRs going in the 1st round. I dont think that will happen though.

Verrett is starting to grow on me. I know he's short but he can ball.

I agree although I wouldn't be too mad about Fuller. Verrett is getting shafted because of his size, but he makes up for it with his physicality. Would love to get him. Also I would take about 6 receivers before Odell idk why people on this board cream over him so much.

Yeah, I don't understand why people make such a big deal about his height. I think his athleticism and competitiveness makes up for most of his height weakness. He is only 1.5 inches shorter than Revis, who before his injury, was easily the best corner in the league.

I like Odell in the second round but I definitely do not want him in the first. I agree with you there are a handful of WRs that I will take before OBJ. I was over exaggerating about OBJ being a bust; he is overrated, especially by LSU fans.

I like for 1st/2nd rounds respectively: Verrett/WR (Matthews in the second if we trade up?), Mosley/WR, and Lee/Gaines

Landry was bracketed MULTIPLE times a game. OBJ was as well. I seent it. Example, arkansas 2013

For me personally, any WR other than Watkins or Evans in the first round.

For the board, anyone besides a WR in the first round.

My reasoning: There will be several WRs to pick from in the 2nd round that are just as good as the WR we could get at #27.

Was never bracketed. Thats like what guys do to gunners on punts.

That never happened to any LSU WR.

Lulz, two players being bracketed?

Did they have make-believe ferries covering the other 9 offensive players?

He never said simultaneously. Even still you don't cover 11 guys on offense. You cover 5. Most of the time teams rush 4 or 5 guys leaving 6 or 7 in coverage. So technically speaking they could double both at the same time and have 1 on 1 with the other 3 or leave 1 guy uncovered.

Teams actually did this a lot to us with Graham and Sproles or Stills.

Hey, you made your point without being a dick.

And you made it look easy.

I wonder if others can do the same.
