re: Highest the Saints have drafted a QB since 1971 - BigBrod81
Wasn't the Wilson supplemental pick in '81 the reason the team had no 1st round pick in '83 which ultimately caused them to miss out on Dan Marino? Marino's stock ended up falling like a ton of bricks after a bad senior season at Pitt & rumors of him being a cocaine user. He went from being a top 5 ...
They need to slow down the game to beat a team like Golden State
It's just hard to do. The Warriors turn any mistake into a transition opportunity. You have to play a flawless, mistake free game along with them having an off shooting game. It's a lot easier said then done especiall...
Yep I think Marc is by far our best player
I agreed. Everything runs through Gasol offensively but Conley is the piece that makes it run smoothly. Plus the Grizz are missing out on the fact that Conley will force Curry to work more on the defensive end. Any little bit of extra exer...

I feel really bad for him. He's a good guy & you can tell it's eating him up not to be out there playing. That eye looks horrible though....
This team is just way too damn good to be giving them 2nd chances
They absolutely kill teams with this because of how well they shoot the ball. Any team that doesn't get distinctive advantage on the boards against them doesn't have a chance.
steals
That along w...
That says nothing other than it is coming... coming can mean 6-8 years from now.
The cap has jumped up 20 million in just the last 2 years.
Cap friendly doesn't mean it is friendly to you either.... Breees last contract was considered "cap friendly" to many.
The first half of his contract was cap friendly. The back end, not so much as his cap hit increased.
No but I like how you assume, it has made a fool...
As far as Brees 15-18m will be his base salary and would not include incentives, signing bonus, etc.... so you can laugh all you want but he will get close to 25m
What your dumbass can't understand is that the potential cap hit means more than whatever the overall contract is.
nope but I doubt Seattle gives more than 18m a year to Wilson
The Seahawks will pay him more than that. It's more about the terminology of the contract, the cap space the contract will take up & not how much Wilson receives per year or overall. I still can't believe people don't un...
Seattle will not give a huge chunk of cap to Wilson because they recognize even though he is efficient he isn't worth 25+ million. I could see him signing for 15m a season, which won't hurt the team.
So you are the Seahawks GM now? :rotflmao:...

re: La'el Collins - Meeting with Bills/Dolphins, heard from "just about every team" - BigBrod81
The moves the Saints have been making is so that have a ton of cap space when Brees is finished. They got rid of Lofton because he was a slow LB & a liability in coverage. He became expendable. Why in the hell do you think they drafted a much more athletic ILB with their 31st pick? ...
they will sign Brees to a 2 year 30-50 million dollar deal after he has another productive season
An aging Brees will have no leverage in his contract negotiations. He's going to have to sign a cap friendly deal just like Peyton Manning which will probably have language in it makin...
