Giannis? No way. No way.

If you get Giannis and Ilyasova for Asik I will be impressed. And pissed.

Whatever fans Milwaukee has left would riot. Giannis is the only ray of hope they have left

Yeah I think that's Rockettard wishful thinking.

The Pelicans shouldn't not do this deal because of Gordon or Tyreke, but one of them would have to be moved. If you're acquiring Derozan, you're getting him to play 30+ minutes, which are minutes that Jrue, Tyreke, and Gordon currently get. What works about AFA is that he gives you a skill set that the 3 guards don't (length, rebounding, defense), and you can play him in limited minutes.
Rosters are a constantly changing thing, so if you can acquire a talented player like Derozan for next to nothing as this proposed deal suggests, then do it. However, I don't see it happening.

I agree 100% This Pels team isn't winning anything this year. Derozan is an athletic lengthy guard who hasn't reached his full potential. Take him on at under 10M and don't worry about the roster imbalance at this point.

True dat! The only thing i worry about is the moveability of EG and reke (somewhat)

I don't see this happening unless Gordon or Evans is getting moved. That's too much money to have sitting on the bench at the end of the game.

signing reke was a good move, moving our only true SF for another ball dominant player is insane unless we plan on doing even more trades. I'm curious though, it is dell and he does have the "lets acquire assets this year to flip later".
all the previous trades to gain players have been assets he built up.

Well we all know Gordon is gonna "get hurt" if the team falls out of playoff contention, so that's room for Derozan.

Gordon has lost a step, I'm not sure how fake his injuties are. Sure, pels were more cautious with him because we are losing,, but the guy's looking less explosive.
Derozan's team has been a mess and he still has a higher PER and true shooting % than gordon. Gordon needs to play a lance stephenson role next to a kyrie irving or other high volume scorer. He ain't a first option player. Derozan is, pls make it happen.

Gordon's problem is he can't make shots consistently, especially driving to the hole. He still gets by his defender. Just having problems finishing.

His problem is due to being unable to jump like he used to imo. Idk what dell has been thinking about this season. Should have given up gordon for Dudley and Gortat when we had the chance...
Jrue
Derozan/Reke/Morrow
Dudley
AD/Ryno
Gortat/Smith
would be pretty nice about now... certainly a lot of other things i could criticize Dell for too, but i guarantee that lineup >>> what we got now, he does some weird shite.

I would like to have a longer, more athletic 2 on the floor. This would enable Ryno to play a little more at the 3 with AD at 4. Right now we can't afford to play Ryno at 3 because of the lack of size and defense on the perimeter.

Derozan is Tyreke with a worse shot selection. That being said, if it means that the Gordon contract is being moved I'd be all for it.

Interesting.
The deal as detailed would be a salary dump for them, and another guard to try out around Davis. I'm not sure I totally get these are the best options for each team, but that's the best explanation I can come up with at first glance.
It can't happen until at least the 15th since those two cats were free agent signings. We have time to watch, and any deal has time to fall apart, if it was there.
